Privacy notice
Last updated: 8 November 2026
This notice explains what happens to your data when you visit boomables.com or sign up for Boomables news. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Boomables is an independent game in development. The data controller for this website is the developer of Boomables. You can reach us at our contact address.
What we collect, and why
- Newsletter sign-up. If you choose to join, we store your email address, the date and time you signed up, the country your request came from (a two-letter code provided by our host; we do not store your IP address) and where on the site you signed up. We use this only to send you news about Boomables, such as the launch date, playtests and store pages. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
- Bot protection. The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is submitting it. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser for this check only. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.
- Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites; we only see aggregate numbers such as visits per page and country.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your email address with anyone. Videos, fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third-party platforms.
Where your data is kept
Email addresses are stored in a database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. on our behalf. Cloudflare may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If the newsletter is discontinued, we delete the list.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing our contact address. Every newsletter email will also include an unsubscribe link. If you are in the EU, UK or Türkiye, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The newsletter is not intended for children under 16. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before signing up.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date above.
